BPH Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

BPH, or benign prostatic hyperplasia/hypertrophy, is often caused by bacteria infection, and is often confused with prostatitis. Enlarged prostate, swollen prostate and urinary symptoms are some of the symptoms of BPH. Prostatectomy, TURP surgery and brachytherapy are used to treat BPH.

BPH Surgery

BPH treated with prostatic injections of antibiotics and herbal medicine, for bacteria infection and prostatic blockage, respectively.

TURP Surgery

TURP surgery, or transurethral resection of the prostate, is a green surgery for BPH, benign prostatic hyperplasia, benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Home Treatment

BPH treated with Asian herbal medicine, urethral perfusion, prostate massage, herbal medicine plaster, sitz bath with herbal medicine and heat massage.

For enlarged prostate caused by sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia, the prostate is infected and blocked. Prostatectomy and TURP surgery are sometimes recommended by urologist as a treatment option for BPH. For minimally invasive surgery and green surgery with least damage, prostatectomy penetration and TURP surgery penetration are better surgery choice.

BPH Symptoms

Symptoms of BPH are dysuria, difficult starting urination, weak urine stream, dribbling after urination, unable to empty the bladder completely, etc. Surgery such as TURP surgery and prostatectomy are often the last resort for chronic BPH with severe prostate and urinary symptoms.
